We have received a tip that the 3-piece rock band known as Heroes of the Rodeo is scheduled to play at Scooters Bar and Grill in Pennsville at 10 pm Saturday, March 7th. Word on the street is that they have 120 covers from Motown to Rob Zombie, performed with a focus on three-part vocal harmony. Extensive investigation into the socials shows that they played at GameTime Sportzbar (formerly Hot Shots) in Westville this past New Year’s Eve and host a weekly Thirsty Thursday Throwdown Open Mic there with a full backline. Several clips available online show people dancing in the background and offer evidence that may support the claim that Sean Simpkins‘ voice and bass playing are said to be quite exceptional. Frontman guitarist and singer Howie Siegrist can be found posting performance selfies publicly on Reels for your review and entertainment. Energetic drummer Brady Little has been seen playing out with the likes of Collin Bunch and another power trio called Issarök out of Pennsville, which includes band mates Ben Buckner on guitar and Timo Goff on bass. Little is known to frequent the live jam every odd Tuesday at the Woodstown Tavern & Hotel, regularly hosted by Paul Wilkinson Music, Luke Ferracone, and Pat Hughes. Will anyone tagged here or in attendance at any of the aforementioned activities bear witness and testify to legitimacy of these rockers? Will a member of their fan base come forward and corroborate the claim that this will be an AWESOME good time?
If you have information on the individuals involved here, please do share. If you have any other information pertaining to any shenanigans of this nature in the vicinity, please make a full report to The Gig Machine so that we may notify the public at large. Photographic and video evidence will be accepted and probably posted as a courtesy and a service. We support live music.
